Hey there, so we worked on a concept sketch for a device we intend to see go into production (...partnership/sponsorship anyone???) in the nearest future. What this device is??? pretty self explanatory from the sketch work but lets break it down a bit more.

Conventional gaming will always be part of modern society and there are a  number of devices a customer can purchase to experience them according to taste but one sector has began to show interesting growth and that is mainstream Android gaming. Various companies have introduced a number of Android console gaming devices to stand beside (...toe to toe is really pushing it for them) the top gun consoles like PS, XBOX, NINTENDO and related. OUYA, NVIDIA SHIELD and RAZOR FORCE are typical examples.

 If you still are lost by what we are saying, in simpler terms, Android console devices are gaming devices you connect to a screen (...like t.v, monitor) and play installed Android games with pads in your comfort(...get it now? not on your mobile devices but on your big screen with gaming pads).

Our devices will have an in-built custom Android ROM using Android 5.## as its base. A dedicated store will be created and our team will select the best console like games from developers to be featured there for download directly to the console. Popular vendors like GAMELOFT, EA, UBISOFT, GLU, CHAIR, ROCKSTAR,GAMEVIL, KONAMI, WARNER BROS, MADFINGER,  and CAPCOM will be at the fore front of the lineup as their mobile gaming are impressive relating to console standard.

A true Octa-Core processor will run underneath, sufficient RAM and internal memory too. All (..most to be safe) modern connectivity options will be available from VGA, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.#, LAN, USB, USB Type C, Mic and Audio jack. Charging will be done via DC IN adapter and an alternate Micro-USB. The device will come with an inbuilt battery power system that can allow the device to run for at least 5hrs.

The controllers double as a remote control to wade through the U.I. It will have a dedicated 2MP camera to capture a user should the game require such plus an inbuilt mic for dictations and other social media needs.

Asides gaming, the custom App store will feature media streaming apps like YOUTUBE, SKYPE and others. Hmmm...!!! We just thought of an update that will allow users to also be able to use their social media apps on the console with the controller but we'll note it down in our log only.

We intend to make the price offering most accommodating and the retail packaging will be content rich, having a bluetooth surround sound headset, HDMI streaming dongle, 2 wireless remote pads (...and their USB charging cables), 2 fully installed games (...so you can start playing immediately) and a voucher for 20% off on next 3 game purchases (...HAAA!!! BEAT THAT).

By now we are sure you already wish this was on the shelf for purchase but keep those fingers crossed.

WE WANT TO DO GAMING ON THE ‘NEW’ NINTENDO 3DS…AND YOU SHOULD TOO.

Games used to be so simplistic back then, power up and just play senselessly for hours killing time and having fun. These days, you have to literally study much to play games, get pumped up like you are on drugs and don’t get us started of the hours of videos we have to watch in-game (…ok, its not all bad too).

There are always those times (…more than occasional) where we want to just kick back and play something that has us jumping around for the fun of it and smashing things here and there plus the ridiculous boss fights that make us laugh rather than smash our devices.

Nintendo has always (…in our point of view) had a way to make gaming simplistic and fun. Most hardcore gamers will argue they have soft titles for kids only (…games are meant to be fun too) but we have always liked their point of gaming view, they tend to balance out all the hardcore gaming consoles out there.

The NEW Nintendo 3DS is just the perfect hand held gaming console to keep you relaxed in a fun gaming kinda way. You can play a number of cool titles like Street fighter, Persona, Mario, Pokemon…etc. the device itself is has some pretty decent perks too, like;

-          Play games in 3D or 2D, your choice.

-          Eye tracking which allows you to view 3D in angles too.

-          Watch videos and tv shows online.

-          Web browser.

-          Customization options both for hardware and avatar.

-          Console specific future titles.

-          Backward compatibility with DS, 2DS and 3DS games.

If you already have a Nintendo 3DS, chances are you will have to upgrade to this ‘NEW’ one (…most of the listed features are not on the old ones plus future support for the old models can’t be guaranteed) and really it is called NEW Nintendo 3DS (…don’t ask, Nintendo and naming conventions never go so well).

There are two models, the 3DS and 3DS xl (…bigger screen estate), with a price of $199 for the xl we can say it is a good bargain (…Naija, our exchange rate is not helping) and we can say it’s a must have for casual gamers either at home, school or office.
