The past couple of days has got the IPhone 6+ in the spotlight and not for compliments it will seem so what’s the issue now Apple?
Apparently, the IPhone 6+ has been reported by a number of people about the device bending (thus our title, yoga). It will seem the phone while subjected to normal handling in pockets caused some persons units to bend. The internet has gone viral with this flaw and other key phone manufacturers have been taking jabs at the IPhone 6+ (…not surprising there. Samsung your only partial flagship device made of premium metal is the Galaxy Alpha…so shut it). Some persons go as far as purchasing the unit and subjecting it to bend (seriously, can people be any more desperate for publicity?) and posting videos everywhere. There have been a total of nine units with such complains so far out of the posted 10 million units sold.
Apple finally confronts the issue telling the public that the IPhone 6+ is made of premium aluminum that has been subjected to stress and strain tests to verify its form factor strength and so any user who has experienced such defects will have their unit subjected to these tests of theirs again before they can claim warranty (good luck to that).
Verdict: well, the images don’t lie about the bending and it’s not uncommon to have a percentage of defective units in product batches so yes, Apple will verify and replace as needed (…that’s what they’re saying). As the rest of us who may become a bit skeptical about getting an IPhone 6+ unit after this, don’t. Remember the case of some device that combusted on their own with a number of users? (…Sammy, here’s a handkerchief). The IPhone 6+ is very much an impressive device over its previous models, it has its pros and cons like every other so in the end it all boils down to consumer preference.
